Tank Wreck

Meeting a real tank underwater is just another dive day in Kaş.

A real tank sunk in 2016 as an artificial reef for dive tourism: a 45-ton, US-built 1960 model complete with its 105 mm gun. First lowered to 5 m in Kaş Harbour, it was then moved to its spot off Pigeon Island and is one of only a handful of divable tank wrecks in the world. Quickly wrapped in sponges and schooling fish, it also makes an ideal introduction to wreck diving.

Honestly: the sea decides which site we dive on which day; the final call is made in the morning by our captain and instructors based on wind and sea. If this site is on your wish list, do tell us and we'll factor it into the plan.
