Sarı Ot Island
Those who come this far get the finest wall of them all.
A little far from Kaş but definitely the best wall around. The current usually comes from the south and can be very strong: as a classical start you may have to work your way against it half way down the crack at the island's southern tip; out of that narrow crack there is no other way than descending the vividly alive, seemingly endless wall, and the current eases off at depth. Following the wall south, the groupers and lively anthias colonies at depth are well worth seeing. On the way back, once up the wall and in the shallows, the current weakens and it is easy to return to the boat following the bottom, amusing yourself with a series of small rock circles. If you drifted north at the start, getting back means holding on to the rocks. Less experienced divers have it easy in the sheltered rocky shallows south of the island, without going over the wall.
