Kovan Island
Under the island named for its beehives lies a true open-air museum.

The island takes its name from the beehives on it, and there are even a few old bullet cartridges at depth. This is one of the best underwater archaeology showcases around Kaş: between 7 and 30 m lie amphorae whole and broken, plus stone and metal anchors in abundance. Mind the strong current from the west: the easiest route drops southwest from the island's east tip and drifts east with the current at your back, where predator fish gather.
