A cavern painted by light
The Blue Cave is a cavern dive where daylight enters through an opening at sea level and lights the water from within. The light filters between the rocks and brings out every shade of blue, which is why it's one of the most photographed spots in Kaş.
It is NOT technical cave diving: you move through an open, airy section that daylight reaches, with an instructor/guide beside you. No separate cave certification is needed; a valid dive certification is enough. We head out from Kaş Harbour on our boat and add it to the route when conditions allow.

How it works
The Blue Cave dive, step by step
It's usually one of the sites we dive as part of the full-day, two-dive trip.
- Meet at the harbour
We meet on our boat in Kaş Harbour; certification/logbook check and the day's briefing.
- Out to the cave by boat
The captain and guides plan the day's route by wind and sea; when conditions allow, the Blue Cave goes on the plan.
- Guided cavern dive
You move through the blue-lit section with your guide; no rush, safety first.
- Second dive
The day's second dive at a different site, with your surface interval.
Joining
Who can dive it?
- You hold a valid dive certification (SSI, PADI and all other systems accepted)
- No separate cave/technical certification needed; the dive is guided
- Away from diving a while? We recommend a refresher dive first
- Swimsuit, towel and sunscreen are all you need; gear, boat and insurance are on us
Honestly: the sea decides which site we dive on which day. We put the Blue Cave on the route when wind and sea allow; it's confirmed in the morning at the boat. Do tell us your wish and we'll factor it into planning.

About cavern diving
Is cave diving dangerous? Are we trapped in an enclosed space?
The Blue Cave is not technical cave diving. You move through an open, airy section that daylight reaches, with a guide beside you; the exit is always in sight. No separate cave certification is required.
How deep do we go?
Roughly the 5–18 m band, at a depth your guide judges suitable and within your certification level. Depth is not the goal; your comfort and safety come first.
I'm not certified. Can I dive the Blue Cave?
The Blue Cave is for certified divers. If you've never dived, start with a course (SSI) first; you can get certified in Kaş and dive the cave the same holiday. If you just want a taste, discovery dives take place at sheltered, shallow sites.
Do you dive the Blue Cave every day?
The day's sites are chosen by the captain and guides based on wind and sea; the Blue Cave goes on the route when conditions allow. For your safety, the final call is made in the morning. Tell us in advance and we'll prioritise it in planning.
Are photos or videos taken?
With its light, the Blue Cave is superb for photos. Ask us on WhatsApp about the underwater photo/video package and current terms.
